When: Saturday January 22, 2011

Orange top: ? (Panama)
Patterned dress (used as skirt): ? (Panama)
Brown belt: Madison (Panama)
Brown Liz Claiborne purse: TJ Maxx
Brown wedges: Payless Shoe Source

Where: Shopping with my mom and sister. I also went to mass and out to dinner with my parents.

I felt so tropical and colorful in today's outfit! As you have probably noticed by now, I always have to wear summer-ish outfits in Panama because of the weather. For those of you who don't know, Panama is a tropical country that only has two seasons: Summer and the rainy season. So basically, it's hot and humid all year round.

It's nice to live in a country that is always warm and sunny, but sometimes it does get TOO hot! Plus, I'm really going to miss some of my nice winter clothes. At least having four seasons brings some variety to your wardrobe where as I dress pretty much the same all year round. So now you all know that I will be wearing summer-ish outfits year round because if not I would just melt in this weather... hehe :)

How many seasons are there where you live?

Here are all the ways in which I've worn this patterned dress:

  1. I love that dress! The print and cut are so great on you and I like it as a skirt too.

I live in Florida, so we have three seasons. The one we miss is Fall. It usually goes from warm Summer to cold Winter and that's it. Then Spring. I do like Spring. :)

  2. I love the different ways you've styled this dress! I live in Seattle. We have gray, rain, two months of warmth and sun, then cold and wind. Actually it's not as bad as the reputation that precedes it. It's a marketing ploy to keep the population where it is. Not really.

  3. In Oregon have all 4 seasons: Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Though it rarely snows here, it just rains all winter and part of spring.
Where I grew up however in Wyoming, it was: Winter, Still Winter, Windy Season, and construction season...haha
