Today was hands down the most craziest traveling "day" ever. Now I put day in quotation marks because thrutfully this day started at 6:00 am and ended the next day at 9:30 am. Lets just say it was a loooooooooong day. As I said before, one of my flights where cancelled, so I decided to take a train in my attempts to catch the second plane that went to Panama. Yeah well, the trains were delayed as well, so I missed the flight.
What was really amazing was that when everything seemed to be hopeless and I was doomed to miss Christmas with my family, a Christmas miracle occurred: My parents (in Panama) managed to book me and my boyfriend a flight to Puerto Rico and then to Panama that left just in 1 hour!! If any of you have been traveling through Newark this holiday season, you know that 1 hour is not very much time to catch a flight!
Luckily, everything turned out wonderful from there on. I arrived at Panama (at last!) at 9:30 a.m. on Monday morning... I was exhausted when I arrived since I only managed to sleep an hour in the plain. Nevertheless, when I looked out my window, saw my home country, and remembered that my parents where there waiting for me, I was the happiest person in sight. The feeling of walking out the airport door to see my two parents smilling and cheering at me is completely undescribable. Definitely, today was a Christmas miracle.

you make me laugh with happy tears for being so wonderful. dad.
ReplyDeleteyou look so sharp in this outfit and the background choice could not be better -- the soda machines gives the city feeling to compliment your outfit and the white floor highlights the profile of your black boots. the pop of your white purse too. do i see a white clip in your hair to even match the purse? jgm
ReplyDeleteAwww bless! Glad you made it home after all the dramas xx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it!
