I don't know about you, but I'm seriously crushing on this clutch right now! Not only is the design of it awesome, but it also goes perfectly with the pop art trend that is very popular right now. Since this clutch is such a show stopper, I decided to go with an all-black outfit today.

En Español- Yo no sé ustedes, pero yo estoy seriamente encantada con este clutch! No sólo me encanta el diseño de este clutch, pero también va perfectamente con la tendencia del arte pop que es muy popular en estos momentos. Como este clutch ya dice mucho por sí sola, decidí usar un look neutral todo en negro.

I would like to give a special thanks to Swaychic.com for sending me this chic black romper that I'm wearing today. The pleating in the front of the romper is very flattering and I really love the cutouts on the back. Today I decided to pair it with black tights to keep it more conservative, but I can imagine myself wearing this romper in many different ways in the future!

Los pliegues en la parte delantera hacen que este romper sea muy halagador y me encanta los cutouts en la espalda. Hello everyone!! Just wanted to make a small announcement to let you all know that The Joy of Fashion is finally going to be in Spanish as well! My posts from now on will be written in both English and Spanish so that all of my fellow Panamanians (and other Spanish speakers) can read my silly posts too :)

Today I decided to finally wear these awesome striped jeans I bought from Forever21.com a couple of months ago. Striped jeans and pants are a huge trend for this Summer 2013, so I was happy to find such an affordable pair online (Find them here!) I know they kind of make me look like Beetlejuice, but I love 'em all the same ;)

Here is a super easy DIY Nail tutorial on how to get Mod Black and White Nails! I love how simple and yet unique looking this mani is. And you know what is the best part? It totally goes with this Summer 2013 trend of black and white!

To get this simple mani, you just need to follow 3 easy steps:

Paint all of your nails white
Use black nail polish to draw a thick vertical line on one side of each nail. Don't worry if you have shaky hands, the line doesn't have to be perfect!
Use nail remover and cotton to clean the excess black.

All done!!

Now was that easy or what?! These nails definitely make a statement because they are different than what you are used to seeing. However, I feel that they are still conservative enough to wear on an everyday basis (even to work!). Go ahead and give it a try!

Today I had the pleasure to spend some time with my friend Aapo and his adoooorable dog Chango! Some of you might remember Chango from a couple of months ago as a cute little puppy, I was surprised to see just how much he has grown! He is so big and fluffy like a big teddy bear! SO cute!

We had a lovely time walking around the Cinta Costera and enjoying the beautiful view. It was a great way to spend the late afternoon.

Later that night, I went out to dinner with my friends to celebrate two of my best friends' birthdays!! I sure miss spending time with my friends now that we all have hectic schedules, so tonight was really special :)

Today I had the pleasure of attending the opening of the new Aéropostale store in Multiplaza Pacific! Since my foot is still kind of injured, I had to once again come up with an outfit featuring a cute pair of flats. These gold and black ballerina flats are quickly becoming one of my favorites right now :)

Ok, back to the Aéropostale store... it turned out amazing! I absolutely loved how they decorated the place, especially the girly chic dressing rooms made out of black and white sketches. So cute right?!

One part of the store had this girly decor to it, and then other parts of the store had a more rustic wood decor to it. I really enjoyed seeing how creative they were with their displays and how they showed all of their products in an innovative and unique way... it was almost like art somehow.

I had a wonderful time at the event, especially since I had the chance to meet some awesome people. One of them was a fellow Panamanian blogger called Ileana from Ileana Recommends. She was so nice to talk to and we got a kick out of how we both had penguin iPhone covers :)

A big thank you to Aéropostale for inviting me to this lovely event, I had a wonderful time :)

I love wearing floral printed things for Summer and Spring, they always look so fresh and cheerful don't you think? Instead of wearing this dress with a pair of ballet flats, I decided to go for a more unexpected shoe: sneaker wedges!! I love how they sparkle when I walk :)

I know I've said it many times, but I just love how pearls make any outfit look more classy. As if pearls aren't elegant enough, why not through in some lace and leopard print too right? Finish it off with some red lipstick and some fabulous sunglasses and you are ready to go ;)

Note: In case you are wondering, that is a temporary tattoo on my arm :)
