Liquid metal dress
Wednesday October 3rd, 2012
Today I'm wearing this Forever 21 silver maxi dress (as a skirt) that I bought a loooong time ago. It seems to be the story of my life that I buy things and don't get around to wearing them until several months later... sigh, oh well, at least I still like the pieces I buy several months after I purchase them ;)
What I like most about this dress is that it looks like some sort of liquid metal. The photos don't really do this dress justice in terms of its cool texture and shine. My dad in particular was fascinated at how metall-ish (invented word!) this dress looks... hehe.

That skirt is amazing! I have the same problem too. I buy a lot of clothes and don't get around to wearing them as much as I would like to. But you only can wear one thing at a time! haha :)
ReplyDeleteHow cute !
ReplyDeletethere is something special about this outfit.
The very elegant liquid metal skirt and the very relaxed Woodstock top work perfect-
I love your skirt, and that Woodstock top! So cute, yet sophisticated too :)
ReplyDeleteThat fabric is pretty spectacular, actually. What does the rest of the dress bit look like?
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah! Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting, you are always so sweet to me. To answer your question, the top of the dress is quite simple. It just has spaguetti straps and a straight neckline, nothing fancy. I got the dress mostly because of the fabric, I just love how unique it looks! Thanks again for stopping by ;)
ReplyDeleteSo cute, love the outfit! :D
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is so neat!! I can definitely see how it looks liquidy and metallic... what a unique piece it is! I have that problem, too, of buying things then not wearing them until months later--I always want to make sure that when I wear them for the first time, it goes into a blog post! haha. You're normal. ;)
ReplyDeleteALSO your sweater is the cutest!!
What a beautiful maxi skirt!
