Yellow skirt: El Titan (Panama)
Ralph Lauren striped top: Birthday present from my boyfriend
Black Nine West belt: TJ Maxx (U.S.A.)
Black pumps: La Onda (Panama)
Black Liz Claiborne purse: TJ Maxx (U.S.A.)

Where:
Work + Some last minute Christmas shopping with my boyfriend
Comments:
Last year I decided I needed a couple of classic looking skirts, so I decided to buy this yellow skirt as well as twin orange and lime green skirts. I would have never guessed that the yellow skirt would be the one I wear the most (and by far!) Wanna guess how many times I have worn it since last year?
... no idea? I've worn it 14 times!! That might not sound like many times to you, but I don't wear almost anything that often. I feel so proud of myself for being able to remix this yellow skirt in so many ways!

Sometimes we surprise ourselves.... the same thing happened a few years back when I bought a yellow bag - at first i though it would not get that much wear and then it became a staple !

Hi Marie,
ReplyDeleteYou're my kind of gal! Your style is soooo me, I can relate to you and find inspirations in your looks! Feminine, cheerful, and not too "madame-like". Elegance is cool, but everyday elegance or Parisian like can be a bit boring to me. I'd prefer colors, mix of thrift-cheap-high end, and fun fun fun!
Ow, and I love it that you smile in your pics. Most of the more sophisticated bloggers look like models in Vogue, dreamy like and very cool, but not so... real.
I'm definitely fo@Marie
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it!
