The beautiful ruins of Casco Viejo
January 18, 2013
This is what I wore for a lovely afternoon in a historic area of Panama called Casco Viejo. I wanted to wear something different and daring today, so I went with this boho hair accessory. At first I didn't think I would be able to pull it off, but I actually love how it looks!

We had lunch in a delicious restaurant called Mostaza. I've always loved the warm decor of the restaurant with stone walls and Moroccan lamps. Not to mention that the food is delicious!
After happily filling our bellies, we decided to take a short walk around the nearby ruins. Aren't they just pretty?
My sister was also looking very stylish today! I am totally in love with her new neon pumps!
**I accidentally photobombed almost all of her photos... hehe.
Today was the last day we spent with my brother Mike who was visiting from Europe. Thanks for the visit Mike and can't wait to see you soon! Luv ya ;)

ReplyDeleteThis is such a darling outfit! Very romantic looking, I love the hair accessory!
ReplyDeleteYou look like a bohemian fairy princess! Love the hair accessory and the nude pumps. Also love your sister's yellow shoes!
ReplyDeleteI love how you styled the hair accessory. I would have never thought it could be worn without looking like part of a costume. And I am so glad the monthly review pictures from 2012 are over and we see new outfit pictures (I never miss a post of yours, the review pictures were a bit boring for me). Your sister is looking awesome. Love the pop of colours via the bag and shoes.
ReplyDeleteI so love that you are showing off more of your country - Love the brick archways!
ReplyDeleteYour dress is so pretty and flowy and it just stunning on you.

With all of the confidence that you exude and the fashion risks that you take I can't believe you were unsure if you could pull this accessory off. I agree that it is a daring and different - but like everything else, you pulled it off beautifully. The second photo absolutely looks like it belongs in a fashion magazine.
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous, love that head piece.

ReplyDeleteDaring in fact!
ReplyDeleteThe headpiece is the key and you're a brave girl. I wouldn't have courage to use it in a "normal" day, but I thing I could use something similar in a medieval fair or a themed party.
I really love the second photo. You look lovely and the light is perfect to enhance the make up and your skintone.
These photos are gorgeous. I am officially jealous of your life. Can you adopt me or your family, even though I am past the age of adoption. LOL. I love your photos, such high quality as usual. Sorry I haven't commented in a while. You know how life gets sometimes. I love this dress, omg I want it now. If I could get my hand through the computer screen and get it straight from forever 21 that would be awesome. To bad life and shopping don't work that way. Darn. I love these ruins. Panama is so beautiful. Its so in my top list to visit, once I start my career, as a college students budget doesn't have much time for traveling. By the way I love what you ordered at the restaurant delicious.
ReplyDeleteThank you so so much Lorena!!! I actually haven't heard of that contest!! I'll have to look into that, thanks for the idea! You are so sweet :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Abigail, I appreciate it!

ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahha thank you Anxhela!!!! You are just too sweet, of course my family would adopt you :) . It makes me so happy to hear you liked my outfit and the ruins as well. It makes me even happier to hear that you want to visit my country, that is awesome! If you ever do visit, let me know and we will meet up!!
