No Pops of color
When: Wednesday June 01, 2011
What:
Maxi dress: Forever XXI
Blazer: H&M
Black pumps: La Onda (Panama)
Navy Tommy Hilfiger purse: TJ Maxx
Where:
Work + My parents came back from a trip, so we all spent some great time together!
Comments:
Since I love color so much, I always try to include at least a POP of color in all of my outfits. Today however I felt that this outfit looked best keeping to a navy and black color palette.
I think black and navy is an underestimated color combo! They are similar colors, but still different enough to add interest. I don't wear this color combo often, but when I do, I feel very mysterious and chic.

Do you ever wear black & navy together?
Here are all the ways in which I've worn this dress:

blue is a color, blue pops - and yes, I love black and navy!
ReplyDeleteChic on the Cheap
I actually wear black and navy a lot! haha I don't know why but I do. I sometimes like adding no pops of color, it makes you seem mysterious and very chic. :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous striped blazer! And I love the navy and black together...unexpected and fun.
ReplyDeleteI think it is interesting not because of color but because of texture and pattern, sheer with opaque, etc.
ReplyDeleteIt's hot hot here too ... near 100 most days. It's probably more humid where you are.
You could do a post on dressing for the heat! I seem to live in tank tops and shorts and skirts, but you obviously don't....
you look so distinguished and lady like. jgm
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it!
