{Valentine's Day}: DIY Conversation Heart Treat Boxes
Hi guys!! With Valentine's day around the corner, today I am happy to share with all of you a tutorial on how to make these cute and super easy DIY conversation heart treat boxes!!! You can whip these together real quick and would make the perfect little gift for a friend or loved one this Valentine's day.

Con San Valentín a la vuelta de la esquina, estoy felíz de compartir con ustedes este proyecto Diy super "cute" para crear cajitas inspiradas en los clásicos caramelos pasteles de esta temporada. Son muy fáciles de hacer y son el regalito perfecto para un amigo o ser querido este San Valentín.
To make these boxes, you will need:
- 4 heart shaped boxes (I bought mine for super cheap at Upim)
- Red, green, yellow, purple, and white paint + 1 paintbrush
- Pastel colored glitter + glue (optional)
- A black permanent marker
Para crear estas cajitas, vas a necesitar:
- 4 Cajas en forma de corazón (yo compré los míos baratísimos en Upim)
- Pintura de témpera en rojo, verde, amarillo, morado, y blanco + 1 pincel
- Escarcha en colores pasteles + goma blanca (opcional)
- Un marcador permanente
To be honest, there aren't a lot of steps to this tutorial because these boxes are SO easy to make! First you need to paint each of the boxes. To get that pastel shade, mix a lot of white with just a little of your color of choice (for example, a little red with a lot of white creates pink!). After you paint the boxes, add glitter and glue to the side of thelids to give them a little sparkle. Next use the permanent marker to write your conversation heart messages on the lids of the boxes. Last, fill the boxes with candy and give them to a friend!

Este tutorial en realidad no tiene muchos pasos porque son TAN sencillos de hacer! Empieza pintando las cajitas. Para crear las tonalidades pasteles, combina mucho blanco con solo un poquito del color de tu preferencia (mucho blanco con un poquito de rojo crea rosado pálido, por ejemplo!). Después de pintar tus cajitas, usa goma y escarcha para añadir un poco de brillo a los lados de tus cajitas. Ahora utiliza el marcador negro para añadir mensajes a las tapas de las cajas. Para terminar, llénalos de caramelos y regálalos a un amigo!
