{Christmas}: No-Sew DIY Candy Cane Stockings
Hi guys! To kick of my Candy Cane themed Christmas, today I would like to show all of you these really cute and super easy to make Christmas stockings! I drew a lot of inspiration from the stripes always seen on candy canes as well as the their red and white color scheme.

Para iniciar mi serie de posts navideños inspirados en los bastones de caramelo, hoy me gustaría mostrarles estas medias navideñas que son muy lindas y fáciles de hacer en casa. Me inspiré mucho en las clásicas rayas de los bastones de caramelo como también sus colores tradicionales de rojo y blanco.
But the best part of these babies is definitely the fact that you don't need to sew one bit to make them! All you need to do is follow these 4 easy steps:
1. Draw a stocking on a piece of cardboard and cut it out with scissors.
2. Use the cardboard stocking as a mold to draw two stockings on red or white felt and cut them out.
3. Align the two stockings over each other and use a hot glue gun to glue them together on all the edges except the top edge.
4. Next fold the top edge of the stocking outwards to create the top base of the stocking. Finish off cutting a strip of felt and gluing it to the corner of the stocking.
And you are all done!
Pero la mejor parte de estas lindas medias es que no necesitas coser para hacerlas en casa! Todo lo que necesitas es seguir estos 4 pasos sencillos:
1. Dibuja una media en un pedazo de cartón y córtalo con tijeras.
2. Utiliza la media de cartón como molde para dibujar dos medias de fieltro rojo o blanco y córtalas usando tijeras.
3. Ahora debes alinear las dos medias y utilizar una pistola de goma caliente para pegarlos juntos en todos los bordes excepto el borde superior.
4. Dobla el borde superior de la media hacia afuera para crear la base de la media. Termina cortando una tira de fieltro y pégalo a la esquina de la media.
Y listo!
That was pretty easy peasy, am I right?! And now comes the fun part... decorating!! Let your imagination fly using felt, sequins, and glitter to make Candy Cane masterpieces. Here are the before and after's of the three designs I came up with:

Deja volar tu imaginación utilizando fieltro, lentejuelas y escarcha para hacer obras maestras inspiradas en los bastones de caramelo.
