{Event}: Top 4 Trends from Panama Fashion Week
Hi guys! I am continuously impressed at how Fashion Week Panama has been growing more and more every single year; and 2015 was no exception. This year the event was bigger, greater, and with more prestigious designers and fashion stands than ever before! After checking out all the collections, today I would like to share with all of you the top 4 trends that I noticed on the runways of various local and international designers.
-- En Español -- Hola chicos! Todos los años me siento más y más impresionada de cómo ha ido creciendo Fashion Week Panamá; y este año no fue la excepción. Este año el evento fue aun más grande y con más diseñadores y stands de moda que nunca! Después de ver todas las colecciones, hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes las 4 tendencias principales que pude observar en las pasarelas de diseñadores locales e internacionales de este año.
1. Flirty Off the Shoulder Details
One of the biggest trends I saw on this year's runway was dresses, tops, and rompers featuring off the shoulder designs. I'm a huge fan of this trend because it allows you to look sexy and flirty without actually showing too much skin.
1. Coquetas con hombros descubiertos
Una de las tendencias que más se pudo observar en las pasarelas de este año fueron tops, vestidos, y enterizos con diseños de hombros descubiertos. A mí me encanta esta tendencia porque te permite lucir sexy y coqueta sin mostrar mucho piel.
2. Easy Breezy Flowy Fabrics
Another big trend I saw throughout the runways was dresses in soft flowy fabrics. This is the perfect trend for tropical countries like Panama because of the hot and muggy weather. Plus, dresses in soft fabrics like chiffon make you look like a goddess when you walk because of the way they move with the wind... and who wouldn't want that, am I right?!
2. Telas Suaves y Airosos
Otra de las tendencias más vistas este año fueron vestidos en telas suaves y airosos. Esta moda es perfecta para climas calientes y húmedos como los de Panamá. Además, vestidos en telas suaves como el chiffon nos hacen ver como diosas cuando caminamos por cómo se mueven con el viento; y a quién no le gustaría eso, cierto?!
3. Feminine Florals
Spring and Summer are all about those floral prints, which we could observe in an array of colors and designs on this year's runway. If you aren't a big fan of girly florals, try wearing lace tops and dresses that showcase the floral trend in a more subtle way.
3. Flores Femeninos
La primavera y el verano son las épocas perfectas para lucir estampados florales; y en las pasarelas pudimos observar flores en una gran variedad de colores y diseños. Si no eres muy fan de flores tan "girly", recomiendo entonces probar tops y vestidos de encaje que lucen esta tendencia floral de forma más sutil y elegante.
4. Inspired by Nature
My favorite trend of this year's fashion show without a doubt was pieces inspired by nature! I especially enjoyed several designs by Breebaart that were inspired by the sea and its coral reefs.
4. Inspiración de la Naturaleza
Mi tendencia favorita de las pasarelas de este año sin duda alguna fueran las piezas inspiradas por la naturaleza! En especial me encantaron unos diseños de Breebaart que fueron inspirados en el mar y sus arrecifes de coral.
