{Rainbow Challenge}: Blue is my favorite color :)
Tuesday March 18, 2014
Hi guys! For the second day of my Rainbow Challenge, I decided to dress in my favorite color: blue! My mom surprised me with this pretty blue dress a couple of months ago and it has been sitting in my closet waiting to be worn (sigh, the story of my life); so it felt great to wear it today! Decided to pair it with all blue things including blue accessories and shoes because you can never have too much blue right?? hehe ;)
Hola chicos!
{Dress/Vestido: Saks (Panama) ; Shoes/Zapatos: BMB (Panama) ; Clutch: Asos.com ; Necklace/Collar: Forever21.com ; Ring/Anillo: Present from my mom}
So what is your favorite color?! I would love to know!
Cuéntenme cuál es su color favorito?? Me encantaría saberlo!

Hi Marie! I love the idea of a rainbow challenge, really anything that gets you working in your closet is interesting for me! Bonus that monochrome is totally in right now! I have no doubt you'll be able to do every color of the rainbow, since you have THE most colorful closet.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty dress (is the bottom micro-pleated? I love that)- nice job mom! Can't wait to see the rest :)
♥ perfectly Priya
Wao, thank you so much for saying that Priya!! It has been fun trying to wear a monochromatic look everyday!! I really appreciate how you are always so sweet and kind to me, thank you so much :)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful dress! I love the print. My favorite color is blue too. Cobalt blue looks great on just about any skin tone and can sometimes act as a neutral! :)
ReplyDeleteThis dress is gorgeous on you...I love the shades of blue in it. We are cobalt blue twins today :)

What a lovely dress! I love the last photo. I'm in love with that neck line and shoulders. The cut of the dress is very beautiful and it fits great. Kudos to your mama ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely, Marie!
ReplyDeleteI’ve chosen this to be one of my “What I Love” looks for this week. I hope you'll keep an eye out on my blog today.

I love every shade of blue possible! - including your dress. I also adore a deep cranberry-wine-plum colour; I've even painted my room in it!
ReplyDeleteThank you Emma!!! Oh I do know what color you are talking about and I love it too!! I bet your room looks fantastic in that color ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great dress, it has a lovely vintage feel - and the various hues of blue are amazing.
ReplyDeleteThank you Teresa!!! Yeah, I'm so lucky my mom has such good taste and buys me nice clothes!
ReplyDeleteHaahahaha thanks Mica!! Yeah, blue can be pretty addictive because it just goes so well with all the other colors. Its like a neutral but at the same time warmer and more interesting than just black or white.
ReplyDeleteThank you Alice!! Hahaha what a coincidence that we both wore blue today!
ReplyDeleteYaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiii!!! Thank you Terry!!! It always means the world to me when you choose me as one of your looks of the week! Yaaaiii!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Heidi! What a cool coincidence that blue is your favorite color too!! I couldn't agree more, blue is one of those colors that look good on everyone ;)
