{DIY}: 3 Ways to Recycle and Reuse Calendars
Happy 2014 everyone! Every time a new year begins, I always feel bad throwing away my calendar of the previous year, especially when it has such beautiful images in it. So today I'm going to show you three easy ways in which you can recycle your old calendars and put them to good use!
1. Wall Art:
The first and most simple way to reuse your old calendars is to display them on your wall as art or posters! I just taped them to my wall, but you could go a step forward and frame the image as well.
2. Make an Origami Box:
Another option is to follow these easy instructions and make this adorable origami box! You can fill this box with treats and give it to a friend, or keep it on your desk to store paperclips or other small items.
3. Make Envelopes for Letters:
Another easy way to recycle your cute calendar is to make envelopes! You can use these to give birthday cards or thank you notes for someone special.
And there you have it everyone! Instead of throwing away your calendar this year, why not recycle it into something useful?! Hope you all enjoyed this quick and easy tutorial :)

The envelope idea is adorable! I had a Salvador Dali calendar once that I just couldn't part with, so I made a 12 piece collage on my wall. :) This is a great idea for a new year post.
