{Outfit}: Cutout dress trend of Summer 2013
Here are a couple of photos of a cute outfit I wore out to lunch with my friend Diana. My mom bought me this dress for only $9.99 at Dorians, can you believe it?!?! I looooove the quirky bird print, the bright purple color, and of course the cutouts on the sides. Cutouts on dresses and tops are a huge trend of Summer 2013, so I felt very trendy and comfy at the same time in this outfit ;)
Do you own any pieces with cutouts? What is your opinion on this trend?

Cute dress! ♥ I don't own any cutouts, but I think they can look great if styled right. :)
ReplyDeleteI dont own any cut out dresses, if i did I would probably have it be a long dress. I think it can be tricky as you dont want to show too much. I love the bird print on this dress.
ReplyDeleteSo so nice dress! :)

Wow, that's an amazing deal on the dress, I love the colourful print, especially the vibrant orange in it. You look gorgeous dear / Enjoy your week. xx Madison
ReplyDeleteLove the print on this dress, and such a good deal as well! I wouldn't mind visiting Dorians myself one day, sounds like a great shop! ;) I'm not really a big fan of the cut-out fashion that's so big right now... Especially when people show way too much skin. This dress, however, is really cute and looks great on you! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are too perfect for words. You're so pretty. I adore the print of your dress and the overall style and the colour scheme. Always love seeing your looks

ReplyDeleteVery cute dress and very much your style! I like the cutout trend too but I haven't tried it yet. I typically like cutouts in the upper back area as I do have nice arms/shoulders. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Yeah, I would have to agree that the cutouts trend is a tricky one. If not worn right, it can show too much skin. But I think its a great trend when used in moderation :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Lorena!! I couldn't agree more, the key to the cutout trend is to not show too much skin. Small cutouts are the best option in my opinion :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Gabi!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so so much Madison!! I hope you had a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Jody!!! Yeah I am also many times turned off by cutouts when they show too much skin. But when done in moderation, I think cutouts can look very cute!
