{Outfit}: Tembleques from Panama's folkloric dress

I just recently realized that I have a dress in pretty much every color except yellow!... well, until now that is. I just recently bought this dress from Forever21.com and I love the way it moves with the wind.

Another special part of today's outfit is the hair accessory I'm wearing. It is called a tembleque and it is part of Panama's folkloric dress. Isn't it puuuuurdy?

Today I celebrated two birthdays, one for my close friend Carlos and the other for my boyfriend's father! A big happy birthday to both of you!

To finish off the day, my boyfriend and I drove around the city like we usually do and enjoyed a delicious ice cream treat :)

  21. Thank you Jody!!! Yes, you can buy tembleques in many places around Panama, especially in touristic areas. However, people usually don't wear them here on a regular day. They are only used for folkloric dances and such, but I thought they are so pretty why not wear them on a normal day right?!
