Switching to clutches
When: Monday November 21, 2011
What:
Beige top: ? (Panama)
Floral skirt: Saks (Panama)
Brown belt: Zara (Panama)
Coral wedges: Pull & Bear (Europe)
Brown clutch: Via Vai (Panama)
Where:
Work + My usual night of working on a cazillion projects that I will never finish (I like to always be busy busy!)
Comments:
One of the many things I have learned from following other blogs is that clutches are very very chic! The same outfit can look drastically different with a big brown bag or with a smaller brown clutch. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love big purses (they fit absolutely everything inside!); but something about clutches just seems so much more polished to me.
So, I am making an effort to buying a couple more clutches (since I used to have not one!). I don't think I will wear clutches everyday since they aren't as practical as big bags, but I'm happy to have them available for when I want to look just a little more polished.

Do you wear clutches or do you prefer larger bags?
Here are all the ways in which I've worn this beige top:

Clutches have made an awesome comeback this year. I really love them, and have incorporated them into my wardrobe. Love yours, the sandals and that skirt. :D

I do not own a clutch because they always seem so small to me. However, when I go out and need just a little something to hold lipgloss, money, etc. I wish I had one! Maybe that should go on my holiday wishlist :) You are so right though, they do make an outfit look polished. Heather

ReplyDeleteI prefer bigger bags as I carry so much stuff. Clutches are nice for events and such but that's about it for me...lol
ReplyDeleteGreat look- and the clutch looks beautiful! :)
I have a hard time fitting all of my stuff into a small bag, but clutches sure are cute.
ReplyDeletei totally dig the print on your skirt! i think clutches look nice. i don't own any because i like my hands to be free.
