Early 4th of July celebration
When: Sunday July 3rd, 2011
What:
Apples dress: From this seller on eBay
Jean jacket: Saks (Panama)
Brown wedges: Payless Shoe Source
Picnic tote bag: Target
Where:
Baked some goodies + Enjoyed a lovely BBQ dinner with my family to celebrate the 4th of July.
Comments:
I'm not sure if I ever mentioned this before, but I was born in Panama and live in Panama (duh right!). However, I am also a U.S. citizen because my mom was born in the U.S. I consider myself half and half because a whole lot of my customs are American and not Panamanian at all.
Even though I am half American, my family and I don't really celebrate the 4th of July that often. But this year, I thought it would be a good idea to have a family BBQ just to enjoy each others company... so that is exactly what we did today!
We ended up celebrating today (July 3rd) instead of the real independence day because the 4th of July is not a holiday here in Panama. We had a wonderful time eating delicious BBQ food and cracking funny jokes. Oh, how I love my family.
