Getting out of the phunk
When: Tuesday August 17, 2010
What:
Patterned top: El Costo (Panama)
White skirt: Christmas present from my parents
Black belt: Christmas present from my parents
Purple wedges: Payless Shoe Source
Purple purse: Borrowed from my mom
Where: Dinner at a delicious italian restaurant with my family
Comments:
Today I finally managed to make a decent outfit! I'm so happy to finally be out of my phunk of not being able to make decent outfits. I guess all of us get into those moods sometimes.
Today's look is simple yet very polished. I'm especially happy to be wearing these new purple wedges my parents got me the other day! Yippiee to new shoes!

Yay I love purple! That top is so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI get a bit of outfit design paralysis almost every time I travel, even when I go back home. I have truly adjusted to where I currently live (Kansas) and where ever I go I feel like I look like Kansas in California, or Kansas in Amsterdam, or whatever. Yet when I travel, I mostly don't want to stand out like a Kansan. I think I have this period of sartorial confusion because I want to respect and get into the local trends, but I have to work at doing so.
ReplyDeleteThta top is beautiful. And now I'm wearing my white skirt this weekend, stat.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, you have gotten a lot of use out of that skirt!! I love the bit of eyelet on the bottom.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are out of your funk - it happens to us all!
What an interesting top. The color+print are perfect.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it!
