Today is the first day of my weekend remix mini challenge!! To start it off, I wanted to go with a somewhat fresh and summer-ish look. So I went with a crisp white eyelet jacket and my cute striped blue wedges. I also added the sunglasses in my hair just to go along with the summer look!! Weeee, first look complete! two more to go :)
Today was one of those days in which everything that could have gone wrong did indeed go wrong. My boyfriend and I were running errands because he is buying a car this weekend (so exciting!). Yet every single thing we did simply had a mistake or led us going somewhere else. Of course, it was very frustrating, especially for my boyfriend. But when these things happen, I find that the best solution is to be as positive as possible.
So that is exactly what I did. I remained positive even though everything went wrong. I made my best attempt to stay happy and make my boyfriend cheerful as well. I'm sure that in a couple of weeks we will look back at this series of unfortunate events and laugh about it. As you probably expect, I'm still happy as can be because that's just who I am! Yai to happiness and boo to unfortunate events :)

I really love that you show how you wore the dress in other ways. That's so cool!
ReplyDeleteThe dress looks lovely with that jacket!
ReplyDeleteI hope your boyfriend got his dream car in the end!
Oh I hate days like that! Props to you for staying positive!
ReplyDeleteAnd you look so cute, I love the eyelet blazer!
Chic on the Cheap
Those mistakes that didnt let you make it to Times Square were like tht Buttons movie a series of events that made you not be in times square next to that suv with bombs in it. JGM.
ReplyDeleteI love the fresh look with the eyelet jacket since it gives your dress a summery crisp look to it. What a wonderful feeling to break out the summer clothes and shoes. It is like freedom from all the heavy coats and boots. I'm glad you stayed positive while dealing with all the curves in the road in trying to get things done to get your boyfriends new car. Remember life is never Plan A but sometimes B or C and certainly the pathway is not straight from A to Z but bumpy and curvy along the way. What is important is that the outcome was what was desired and you kept positive and moving forward.
ReplyDeleteGreat stunning summer look!!
ReplyDeleteAnd glad to see that you are still happy even with a series of unfortunate events along the road.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it!
