Today was one of those days that could only be described as perfect. My boyfriend and I decided to go see the beautiful cherry blossom trees in Washington D.C.

In case you don't know, the Cherry blossoms trees are absolutely beautiful! They have millions of little light pink flowers that grow all over the tree. They also look gorgeous when the petals of the tree brisk through the wind.

It was so romantic to walk around holding my boyfriends hand and watching these majestic trees. It has always been a dream of mine to see them, and this is the 2nd year in a row that I have this wonderful opportunity.

When there are many cherry blossoms in the same place, it looks like a sea of light pink flowers. Simply breathtaking!

Apart from enjoying the Cherry Blossoms, my boyfriend and I got to see the Smithsonian! I have always wanted to see what was inside this Castle looking building :)

The inside was nice, but for me the real beauty was Smithsonian's garden! Wao, I was very impressed!

They even had a hidden Cherry Blossom in their garden! I felt as if I was a princess enjoying the garden of her enchanted castle...jejeje, I loved it!

We finished the day off by having lunch at an absurdly delicious Spanish restaurant. We also had some delicious popsicles while we walked around the city and enjoyed the pretty spring flowers.

All in all, it was a beautiful and happy day. I'm so happy I got to make such beautiful memories. Have any of you ever seen the Cherry Blossom trees?

Also every time I see the Washington Monument I am reminded of what my sister used to call it when she was little - "The finger building," haha.
