When: Sunday February 21, 2010

What:
Blue sweater: Pull & Bear (Europe)
White skirt: Christmas present from my parents
Black patterned tights: Marshall's (just $2!!)
White belt: Present from my parents
Black booties: Payless Shoe Source
Black Liz Claiborne purse: TJ Max

Where: Catching up on school work (boring, I know... jeje)

Comments:
Today I decided to step out of my comfort zone once more and wear these other patterned tights I got at Marshall's ($2!!). These tights are more subtle than the ones from the other day, but I think they are lovely. They really added interest to my outfit!

Today's look was actually inspired by two people! I first got this white skirt + blue top combo by looking at Jenny's blog: Closet 365. I really love the icy color palette she used:

Once I had most of the outfit put together, I felt like a little cute detail was missing. That is when I remembered seeing Elle from J&L wearing a cute black bow as a necklace.

The bow really added that cute factor to today's outfit. I love getting inspiration from fellow bloggers! How about you? Do you ever get inspired to make outfits based on your favorite bloggers' posts?

Here are all the ways in which I've worn this white skirt:

  3. Never would have thought of putting that hooded sweater with such a lacy white skirt. You sure do come up with some great combinations of summer and winter things. The overall look with the bow in your hair and necklace is a cute school girl look and yet you stepped it up with more sophistication with the tights and booties. Nice outfit and color on you.
