Comments:
Today, on my very last day in Panama before I go back to college in the U.S., I decided it was finally time to decorate the gingerbread house I had promised my mother for Christmas. I really wanted to give it to her for the holidays, but I got so caught up that I never got around to it. Well, I guess its better late than never.

This gingerbread house is similar to the other one my sister and I decorated for the holiday season in the sense that the house is already made and all I have to do is decorate it.

In this case, however, decorating the house was sooooo much more difficult and time consuming. But to be honest, I really enjoyed decorating it and I am really happy with how it turned out!

What makes this gingerbread house so special is all the details and colors. I had to cut candies and try to master making designs with icing! It was very challenging, but the details look great!

The best part of all of this is that my mom loved it so much, even though I decorated it so late. It took me a couple of hours to finish, but to see her smile was worth the time :)

  1. I'm extremely impressed with your gingerbread house decorating skills. Mine looked like a kindergartner had decorated it.

And as always, great outfit. :)

  2. I love your closeup pictures in today's post. Your hair color looks beautiful with your tone of skin. Plus, the top that you selected today with all the Fall-time colors makes you look even prettier. I love the orange wedges!
