Hey guys!! There are few things in this world that I enjoy more than traveling, and that is why I try to take every single opportunity to discover something new. Earlier this year, such opportunity arose and I jumped at the chance of visiting for the first time Lisbon in Portugal with my brother Mike!

I admit that I didn't really know much about Portugal at the time, but that quickly changed once I set eyes on the charming pastel colored buildings that decorate the streets of Lisbon. Everywhere you looked, you could see beautiful European architecture, colorful ceramics on the walls (something Portugal is famous for!), charming cobblestone streets, and friendly locals greeting you as you walk by.

We spent most of our 1st day walking around the main area if the city, which is filled with steep hills (we got a real workout there! hehe), stopping by occasionally at charming little bakeries to eat their famous pasteles de Nata (a deeeeelish egg tart dusted with cinnamon).

It was such a change of pace to get out of the loud honking sounds of Panama, to be greeted by this charming city filled with history and beautiful architecture. There was even cheerful live music performances on several streets throughout Lisbon to celebrate the Carnival season. It was truly a magical day that really made me remember that there is so much to see in this world, and so little time to see it.
