{Travel}: Vintage Shopping in Brooklyn, New York
Hi guys!! On our last day in New York, I decided to follow the advise from one of Gabe's friends and visit a vintage clothing shop in Brooklyn called Beacon's Closet. Guys, this was my first "vintage" or pre-owned shopping experience and it was AMAZING!
They had an enormous selection of dresses, tops, and shoes. And not fugly old clothes either, I'm talking about beautiful sequin gowns, gorgeous brocade and lace pieces, and cute casual dresses; all organized and color coded (yes please!). I went a little crazy and ended up buying about 9 dresses and 1 pair of shoes for a little less than $200. Say whaaa?!
-- En Español -- Hola chicos! En nuestro último día en New York, decidí seguir la recomendación de un amigo de Gabe y visitar una tienda de ropa vintage en Brooklyn llamado Beacon's Closet. Chicos, esta fue mi primera experiencia comprando ropa "vintage" y fue MARAVILLOSO!
Tenían una selección enoooorme de vestidos, tops, y zapatos. Y no estoy hablando de ropa vieja y desgastada; estoy hablando de vestidos hermosos de lentejuelas, románticos de encaje, y coquetos de flores; todo organizado por colores (woohoo!). Me volví un poco loca y terminé comprando 9 vestidos y 1 par de zapatos por menos de $200. Queeee?!?!
If you ever visit New York, I definitely recommend you stop by Beacon's Closet. Just be sure to have a good chunk of time at your disposal to thoroughly look through all their beautiful and carefully selected pieces (I was in there 2 hours and could have easily stayed a lot longer!).

Si alguna vez visitan Nueva York, definitivamente recomiendo que visiten Beacon's Closet. Solo asegúrense de tener una buena cantidad de tiempo para buscar entre todas sus hermosas piezas (yo estuve allí 2 horas y fácilmente me hubiera podido quedar más tiempo!).
