{Announcement}: I'm on Oye TV!
Hi guys!! First of all, I'm so sorry that I've been MIA for the last 2 months, I promise I've had a good reason. If you follow me on social media (@MarieMcGrathPTY), this will be no surprise. For those who don't know..... I'm currently on a TV Show!!!!
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!?!
That's right amigos! I am 1 of 4 hosts on a live television show called Sin Filtro on a new channel called Oye TV (Channel 7 in Panama). It is basically a debate and informative show of everything that is buzzing on social media.
-- En Español -- Hola chicos!! Primero que todo, les pido disculpas por estar perdida por los últimos 2 meses, prometo que he tenido una buena razón. Si me siguen en redes sociales (@MarieMcGrathPTY), esto no será ninguna sorpresa. Pero para los que no saben.... estoy en un programa de Televisión!!!
Queeeeeeeeeee?!?!??!?!?!?!
Así es amigos!! Soy 1 de 4 presentadores en un programa de televisión en vivo llamado Sin Filtro en un canal nuevo llamado Oye TV (Canal 7 en Panamá). Básicamente es un programa informativo y de debates de todo lo que está "trending" en las redes sociales.
I just cannot believe how fortunate and blessed I am to have this opportunity, especially since I've always been afraid of video cameras! Ever since I was a teen, I would feel great anxiety at being filmed (and funny enough, always felt comfortable with photos, hence the blog!).
Remember how I shared on New Years that I had some pretty big but scary news for this year?! Well this is it my friends! And I am loving every single second of this amazing experience. Thank you all SO much for being a key part in getting me to this dream come true. I would have never made it without all of your support and kind words of encouragement.
En realidad no puedo creer lo afortunada y bendecida que soy de tener esta oportunidad, especialmente porque siempre le he tenido miedo a las videocámaras! Desde que era adolescente, siempre me daba ataques de pánico cuando me filmaban (e irónicamente siempre me he sentido cómoda en fotos, por eso me volví bloggera!).
Recuerdan para Año Nuevo les conté que este año tenía unas grandes noticias que además de ser extraordinarios eran también aterradores?? Bueno, éste es esa noticia! Y estoy amando y disfrutando de cada segundo de esta maravillosa experiencia. Muchísimas gracias a TODOS ustedes por ser una parte importante de este sueño hecho realidad. Nunca lo hubiera logrado sin su apoyo.

I am SOOOOOOO excited to finally have started this new chapter in my life. I feel so fulfilled to be working on something I enjoy so much; and I know if my momma was here she would be proud of me too.
