Hi guys! We are in the middle of the rainy season here in Panama, and we all know that humidity is the number 1 enemy of frizz-free pretty hair. Sooooo I thought it would be fun to show all of you one of my favorite hairstyles to wear during the most humid periods of the year: a simple Milkbraid hairstyle!!

¡Hola, chicos!! En Panamá estamos en pleno época lluviosa, y todos sabemos que la humedad es el enemigo número uno de un lindo cabello libre de frizz. Asiiiiii que pensé que sería divertido mostrarles a todos ustedes mi peinado favorito para las épocas más humedas del año: un peinado sencillo de Milkbraids!!

This hairstyle has existed for a looong time, but only recently did it become trendy thanks to celebrities like Mary Kate Olsen and Sienna Miller. Now you too can sport this trendy braided hairstyle by following these 6 easy steps:
1. Part your hair in the middle and divide it into two parts.
2. Braid one side of your hair and hold it together with an elastic band.
3. Repeat the same on the other side braiding the second half of your hair.
4. Cross one of the braids over your head and use bobby pins to keep it in place.
5. Repeat on the other side so that it looks like a braided headband.
6. Finish up by hiding the elastic bands and any other hair out of place using bobby pins.
All done!

Este peinado ha existido por muchísimos años, pero solo recientemente es que se ha vuelto una tendencia usarlo gracias a celebridades como Mary Kate Olsen y Sienna Miller. Ahora ustedes también pueden lograr este peinado de trenzas con tan solo seguir 6 pasos sencillos:
  1. Haz una partidura en el centro de tu cabello y divídelo en dos partes.
  2. Trenza un lado de tu cabello y sujétalo con una liguita.
  3. Repite del otro lado hacienda una trenza con la segunda mitad de tu cabello.
  4. Cruza una de las trenzas sobre tu cabeza y sujétalo con unos bobby pins.
  5. Repite con la otra trenza y sujétalo para que parezca una vincha de trenzas.
  6. Para terminar, esconde las ligas y cualquier cabello fuera de lugar usando bobby pins.
Y listo!
