{Travel}: Paradise Mini-Vacation at Playa Venao, Panama
April 9 to 11, 2015
Hi guys! My friends and I decided it was time to get out of our everyday routines and take a mini-vacation for a couple of days to a Panamanian beach called Playa Venao. We had 3 entire days where basically all we did was lie on the beach, drink piña coladas, and swim in the ocean... talk about the good life huh?! It truly was like being in Paradise for a couple of days ;)
-- En Español -- Hola chicos! Mis amigos y yo decidimos que era hora de salirnos un poco de la rutina de todos los días y tomarnos unas mini-vacaciones por un par de días en Playa Venao. Disfrutamos de 3 días enteros donde básicamente lo único que hicimos fue relajarnos en la playa, tomar piña coladas, y nadar en el mar... que buena vida no?! Realmente fue como pasar un par de días el paraíso ;)
Not many people know this, but I actually have an irrational fear of the sea. Something about not being in control of the waves when they hit me freaks me out, so I have never been much of a sea person. But with the help and encouragement of my friends, not only did I swim in the ocean but I also surfed for the very first time ever!! It was an aaaaamazing experience and I feel SO good for having faced my fear straight on. A big thank you to everyone who made that possible, you guys are the best.
No mucha gente sabe esto, pero en realidad yo siempre le he tenido un miedo irracional al mar. La idea de no tener control sobre las olas cuando me golpean me asusta, y por eso es que nunca he sido alguien de ir mucho a la playa. Pero adivinen qué? Gracias a la ayuda de mis amigos, no solo pude nadar en el mar, pero también pude surfear por la primera vez en mi vida!! Fue una experiencia increíble y me siento muy orgullosa de mí misma por haber enfrentado mi miedo de frente. Agradezco muchísimo a mis amigos por haber hecho esto posible, ustedes son lo máximo ;)
One of the best parts of each day at the beach was definitely the sunset. The beach is already very pretty by itself, but once you add the orange and yellow sunset colors in the sky, you end up with something magical. I can't wait to go back sometime, it truly was a wonderful vacation :)
Una de las mejores partes de los días que estuvimos en Playa Venao sin duda alguna fueron los atardeceres. La playa de por sí ya es muy bonita, pero cuando añades un cielo lleno de tonalidades de naranja y amarillo se convierte en algo mágico. Estoy ansiosa por tener la oportunidad de volver otra vez, realmente que fue unas vacaciones maravillosas.
