Chinese Breakfast with the Girls
Saturday November 10, 2012
This is what I wore to have Chinese breakfast with my two best friends. I don't wear brown and black together very often, but when I do I always love it! I also really like my leopard nails ;)
{Dress: Forever21.com ; Hat: Forever21.com ; Shoes: Forever21.com ; Liz Claiborne purse: Borrowed from my mom ; Betsey Johnson monkey ring: eBay.com ; Nails: Sally Hansen Cheetah nail strips}
I have a confession to make: I absolutely LOVE Chinese breakfast! I believe it isn't popular in the United States, so I thought I would snap a couple of photos from the experience so that you can all see what it is like.
As you can see, the decor of the restaurant is amazing! The food is also very very good. A Chinese breakfast mostly consists of bite sized food made out of rice, veggies, and/or pork all steamed and served hot. I know it doesn't sound yummy to have this for breakfast, but believe me IT IS!
If it were up to me, I would have Chinese breakfast every single day. Especially with the great company of my two best friends Maite and Diana ;)
Have you ever had Chinese breakfast?

I haven't heard of Chinese Breakfast, but it looks a little like what we call "dim sum". I'm not sure if it's the same, but different dishes in little pans and wood steamers get passed around in carts and customers can pick and choose which ones to try. Love your nails!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE your dress. It's amazing. I haven't heard of Chinese Breakfast before, but it looks delicious!!

I LOVE dimsum! I really wish I lived in a place that offered it more. we have a couple of restaurants that do, but they're in really awful locations for parking, so we rarely go. I LOVE the shape of this hat! It's adorable.
ReplyDeleteI never have but I sure would like to now.
ReplyDeleteLove your hat (and cat) - so cute.x

Hello Teresa!! Glad to hear you liked my nails, thank you! To answer your question, I used Sally Hansen Nail strips on my nails. They are basically like a sticker that you place on your nail so that it has different patterns and such. You can find them in drugstores and supermarkets. Hope you have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHello Alyssa!! Thanks so much for your sweet comment! To answer your question, I ordered this hat from Forever21 like a month or so ago. I see that they no longer offer it on their site, but I searched around and found one that is almost identical on Asos.com: http://us.asos.com/Catarzi-Exclusive-to-Asos-Velvet-Riding-Hat/yzv90/?iid=2358092&SearchQuery=black%20hat&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Black&mporgp=L0NhdGFyemkvQ2F0YXJ6aS1FeGNsdXNpdmUtdG8tQXNvcy1WZWx2ZXQtUmlkaW5nLUhhdC9Qcm9kLw..
