Comments:
I love hats, plain and simple, but wearing hats in Panama truly is a challenge. Most people in Panama dress in the same way, so when there is someone who wears something out of the box, it truly is like a sore thumb that stands out. That said, it is always a challenge for me to wear hats because nobody here in Panama wears them.

For that reason, I've learned that confidence is a key ingredient to wearing my funky colorful hats in this country. I always get many stares, whispers, and comments (sometimes good sometimes bad). I also have people who look at me like "who does she think she is?!". But you know what? I love hats, and I will keep wearing my hats no matter how many people stare at me or whisper things about me.

I dress for myself and for nobody else. I feel so proud of myself for being myself and not caring about what other people think. I hope you all stay true to yourselves as well! You are all special and wonderful, no matter what other people say. Be you, cuz you are great!

  3. That fedora is way too perfect! It's seriously the greatest pop of color. I wish I could pull off hats as well as you.. alas, my head simply wants nothing to do with hats. It shoos them away. Tis unfortunate!

    Buenísimo  tu blog btw
    Saludos =)

  5. I'm glad that you wear your hats!
    Really, it's an all over the world thing - most people think hats (other than baseball caps) are odd. The people who wear them are often stared at.

    But you look great in your hat, and the color is so pretty!
    and i love your matching lip color as well!

  7. I am surprised along with Laura that they don't often wear hats due to the sun! Your hat is gorgeous and looks great against your skin tone. Love the skirt too! :)
