Comments:
When I was little, I used to dance ballet and all other types of dances. I loved it! Every year, we would have a ballet show and my family would all watch the show and cheer me on.

Here in Panama, it's tradition to give the ballet dancers a bouquet of flowers at the end of the show as a way to congratulate them for their tremendous performance. My parents, being the loving wonderful parents they are, gave me a bouquet of flowers
every single year. So I always felt so very special! (Thanks Mom and Dad, you two are the best!).

Some girls however also received a chocolate rose. I never told my parents I wanted one, so they never got one for me. For some reason, I've always wanted one since then (so so silly, I know).

I happened to tell my boyfriend's mother this story the other day, and she surprised me by buying me the chocolate rose I always wanted (How cute is she huh?!
) I guess our dreams do come true eventually (even the silly childish ones of wanting chocolate :)

  1. Marie, how sweet is your boyfriend's mom for getting you a chocolate rose! :) When I did ballet (I know, can you imagine?) I was so envious of all the older girls who got roses after their performances!

    Love your skirt!

  2. I love your skirt, and I actually own those wedges in white canvas - I wore them to my bridal shower. They are cute and easy to walk in, so they have become a wardrobe staple for me ;)

  7.  Hello Cynthia! Thanks for commenting with such pretty words as usual. Yeah, my mother-in-law is such a wonderful person, I'm so so lucky! Ohh, how cool that you danced ballet too, I didn't know that! I stopped once I graduated after 9 years of dancing ballet. It is indeed very beautiful but also very time consuming and painful on the feet... hehe. Uuuhh, can't wait to see how your hair turns out! I'm sure you will look fantastic!
