I love how two shades of the same color look together, don't you? I especially enjoy mixing different shades of green because I feel that it looks so interesting and chic but in a subtle way. You should really give it a try! Just pick two shades of the same color and use them both in an outfit!

Today was named the unofficial green day at my office because for some reason me and 3 other employees dressed in green today! It was a really funny coincidence to see so many people dressed in green!

Do you ever mix two shades of the same color when you make outfits?

Here are all the ways in which I've worn this green halter dress:

  5. You look great in this outfit. Very bright and sharp. Things I liked in particular:
    1) The full of life green color dress. Plus you look great in this color.
    2) The offset dark defined tights and pointed booties, along with the black purse and belt, puts a balance to the bright green dress.
    3) Your white shirt collar complimented by your shirt cuffs neatly exposed from your jacket.
    Very nice. jgm

  6. This is really cute! I'm going to try mixing some shades of color ... though mine will probably be blue or purple or red. I don't think I have hardly any green in my closet!

I love how you've made a halter dress look compleeeeetely different by layering a button up under it. who would have thunk it? I actually scrolled down to see what the dress was because I couldn't figure it out. You are so creative!

I also really like the belting with this outfit. Your pictures always make me smile :)
