In case you don't know, the Cherry blossoms trees are absolutely beautiful! They have millions of little light pink flowers that grow all over the tree. They also look gorgeous when the petals of the tree brisk through the wind.

It was so romantic to walk around holding my boyfriends hand and watching these majestic trees. It has always been a dream of mine to see them, and this is the 2nd year in a row that I have this wonderful opportunity.

When there are many cherry blossoms in the same place, it looks like a sea of light pink flowers. Simply breathtaking!

Apart from enjoying the Cherry Blossoms, my boyfriend and I got to see the Smithsonian! I have always wanted to see what was inside this Castle looking building :)

The inside was nice, but for me the real beauty was Smithsonian's garden! Wao, I was very impressed!

They even had a hidden Cherry Blossom in their garden! I felt as if I was a princess enjoying the garden of her enchanted castle...jejeje, I loved it!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. Love this outfit today! Also every time I see the Washington Monument I am reminded of what my sister used to call it when she was little - "The finger building," haha. Her first trip to DC was when she was four (it's only about three and a half hours from my house) and my mom took her to the top and she said she had to pee! Ha.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! Have you ever been to Longwood gardens? Burgundy is definitely one of your best colors!
ReplyDeleteThey really are beautiful aren't they!! I love Cherry Blossom time!!! We went this weekend as well. Where do you live? I live in Old Town.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful dress for a beautiful setting :)
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful photos! I'd love to go to the cherry blossom festival in DC someday. The university where I did my undergrad has an annual cherry blossom festival, but it's nowhere near this spectacular!
ReplyDeleteNo, Longwood gardens doesn't have cherry blossoms, but great gardens ... your smithsonian garden comments made me think of it.
ReplyDeleteI love this dress. Have I told you that before? I love how it starts out plain and ends up patterned.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous you got to go to see the Cherry Blossoms. I'm from Northern VA but go to school in Chicago so I always miss peak blossom time.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it!
