Today's outfit was aiming to look sorda punk chic. I wanted to incorporate some rocker elements like the motorcycle jacket and then pair them with girlie items like the full skirt. I really love the contrast! I'm also really happy that I got to wear these cute leg warmers my parents gave me for Christmas. I love stars so much and these babies kept my legs pretty toasty!

Do you ever wear a punk chic outfit? Do you like to mix girlie items with tougher items?

Here are all the ways in which I've worn a tough vs. girlie look (I just realized that they all have the same pose... jajaja, how about that for coincidence?!)

  5. This is such a cute outfit! I love the full, floaty skirt! I also love free food. There comes a point in one's life when you learn to be an opportunivore... usually in college/university. You gotta do whatcha gotta do.

  6. What's most brilliant about this particular outfit is the combination of the checkered top and the stars on the leg warmers. Subtle, colors align, and it's the detail that gives this ensemble personality. Love!

  8. The white skirt is really kind of surprising in this outfit. But you're always able to work the surprising elements. It's one of your gifts.

All your looks are so cute, but the fourth, the purple patterned dress is my fave!!

  12. Love this look! Also, thanks for the timely post...just picked up a leather jacket at my favorite thrift store, fixed the sleeves to fit me, and needed some inspiration on how to wear something a bit more biker-chic than my standard fare.
