Librarian style

When: Monday March 8, 2010
What:
Beige skirt: El Titan (Panama)
White & pink stripped top: Conway (Panama)
Burgundy cardi: Target
Brown belt: Pull & Bear (Europe)
Brown tights: Target
Brown pumps: BBB (Panama)
Brown Liz Claiborne purse: TJ Max
Where: A special business presentation (hence the business look)
Comments:
I usually don't dress this business like and adult-ish (I mean I did do a Disney challenge!), but today I had a special business presentation so I decided to look the part. I really like the idea of being able to dress professionally and still look interesting and true to yourself.
I am a girl who loves color, so this is the perfect choice for me! Although I must admit, I felt sorda like a librarian today... dunno if that is a good thing or a bad thing :) What I do know is that I love how this burgundy cardi looks so rich against the brown shades of the skirt and accessories. What are your tips on dressing professionally?

I have a very similar skirt that I may have to style similarly soon. Personally I work in a pretty liberal place in a pretty liberal town so dressing professionally isn't really a worry, but I think that a collar, or a cuff, or a jacket can "professionalize" just about any outfit.
ReplyDeleteI really love this look on you Weezie. You look so put together and professional, but at the same time fashionable. That color cardigan looks great on you as well. Big hug!
ReplyDeleteOur outfit looks superbly pulled-together, very stylish, but still playful. Love that shade of red!
ReplyDeleteThat burgundy cardie is so beautiful - the colour is perfect!!!

Burgundy is a gorgeous color on you. This looks very professional, but is still very fun and shows off your personality. Love it!

you look beautiful in this outfit. outstanding (stand out!) colors that compliment you so well. No library would be quiet when you walk in. jgm
ReplyDeleteI love a professional clean cut look...always have and will. You look great in these colors and the outfit was perfect for the occasion. The belt, tights, pumps and purse gave it a touch of classy to this overall great office look. The burgundy cardi looks great on you. It makes your skin glow and your smile brightens it even more.
ReplyDeleteAmazing belt!

This is a really great look on you. I can see the librarian, but I think the obi belt still keeps it pretty funky.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it!
