Girlie Colors

When: Wednesday March 10, 2010
What:
Pink dress: Madison (Panama)
Purple jacket: Europe
Brown tights: Target
Beige boots: El Costo (Panama)
Brown Liz Claiborne purse: TJ Max
Where: Watched two movies with my boyfriend :)
Comments:
Not so long ago, I used to think that dressing in girlie colors like pink were not really my style. For some reason, I felt as if I always looked childish in them. Well, thanks to all the inspiration I have received from all of you and your great blogs, I am much more open to new ideas! Today I did the ultimate girlie color combo: pink & purple. And the truth is that I really like it!

Love how you styled this! I don't think girlie fits me at all - like frills and poufs & things of that nature. Bright colors though I love! I need to get more in my wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteyou look really nice in this outfit. The scarf looks wonderful on you, as so without it so we can appreciate the matching jewelry. These colors look great on you. jgm
ReplyDeleteThis is perfection! I used to LOVE wearing pink and purple together when I was little. I think I've only done it one time in the past few months. Your girly color pallet is inspiring!
ReplyDeleteFuchsia and purple are two of my favorite colors, and they work SO well together!
ReplyDeleteI love the combination of colors you used for this outfit. The scarf is sooo puuurdy.
ReplyDeleteThat necklace is so gorgeous. I would buy something like that and never know when to wear it. It looks so natural with this dress!

ReplyDeleteI followed your advice and have made me a collage on my page hehe - it took me a while to figure it out - my pics kept going upside down.
Also I replied to your camera post on my blog - but i don't know if you'll check back - I too have a panasonic lumix - but just the point and shoot kind - not a slr - I need to figure out my settings as sometimes it takes excellent pictures and others not so much!
Plus the lighting is all wrong at the moment!!

ReplyDeletegirlie all day every day! If I could be in Little House on the Prairie with pink calico everyday, I'd be totally down.
ReplyDeleteand that dress is super flattering on you
You look beautiful, and I am all for going for girly looks every once in a while. After all, clothing shouldn't be taken too seriously! By the way, there is a blog award waiting for you here: http://nosignposts.blogspot.com/2010/03/ten-facts-about-me-sugar-doll.html
