Lately I have seen so many people wearing patterned tights and looking fabulous. I have never worn any tights so funky, to be honest, but I thought it would be fun to step out of my comfort zone and give it a try. Lucky me, I found these tights in the clearance section of Marshall's for just $2!!

And I thought: ¿Two dollars?! That's just a little more than the price of a soda! jajaja... So today I gave them a try and I actually like what I came up with. I kept it "me" by wearing bright colors like I always do :) Have you ever worn patterned tights? How did you wear them?
Here are all the ways in which I've worn this blue skirt:

I love those tights sooo much. I always find that it's easier to start wearing funky tights by keeping your outfit simple with solid colors and textures...then when you feel a bit braver add different textures, and then eventually prints.
ReplyDeleteWow. I'm impressed with the steal you got those tights for. I wear tights like that every once in a while. I like to wear a colored tight underneath them both to tone down bright tights and to keep my legs a little warmer. I just wore similar tights the other day. You can check out the pictures in my blog http://schoolmarmstye.blospot.com
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job balancing the tights with things that were in your comfort zone. You look chic!

Marshall's and TJ Maxx are 2 great places to buy tights for cheap. Patterned tights are fantastic and I love the color combo of your outfit!
ReplyDeleteI have that exact same pair of tights and I love them!
ReplyDeleteThey look great with this outfit too. Very cute!
Now those are really "interesting" tights. LOL I actually think that they are very funky and cool looking and I like how you paired them with the blue and yellow. Great color combo. The black and white accents pull everything together. I would agree with Kathryn you could pair them with other colored tights underneath or just flesh colored ones to keep your legs warmer. I would be chilled to the bone if the cold air hit my legs through those tights!!!
ReplyDeleteThe tights look great! I love the blue and yellow color combo with all the black and white accessories!
ReplyDeleteso cute! I love those tights!! and for $2
ReplyDeleteI love those tights and that bag! I remember seeing it at Forever 21 and thinking it was adorable, but I know I'd probably never use it. :\
ReplyDeleteI love patterned tights!
I love your hairband and those tights are quite gothic chic, yet you've balanced it with a very pretty outfit :)
ReplyDeleteI really love this outfit - the bright colors contrasting with black and white, but also the details like the patterned tights, belt, scarf, etc.!
ReplyDeleteI adore this outfit. Maybe because my HS colors were blue and gold, or mabe because its just so darn cute! It looks great on you
