Pulling it together with one item

Pink dress (used as skirt): Panama
Blue Peace top: Present from my brother in Spain
Mustard cardi: Target
Brown targets: Target
Brown boots: Payless Shoe Source
Brown Liz Claiborne purse: TJ Max
Brown obi belt: Pull & Bear (Europe)
Where: Just doing some "to-do's" and catching up with some projects...

I love it when I have items with several colors such as multi-colored tops or skirts. The reason why I like them so much is because it gives me so many opportunities to mix it up with different things. For today, I decided to take advantage of all the colors in this top to make a really colorful outfit. I wouldn't have paired so many colors together if I didn't have this one item (the top) that pulled the entire outfit together. Anyway, I was very happy with my colorful outfit today... something about wearing colorful colors brightens up even the grey-ist days!
Here are some other ways I have worn this pink dress... jaja I just realized that I have only worn it as a skirt since I got it! lol

What a vibrant mix of colors! And I can never resist an obi - that one looks particularly soft and supple.
ReplyDeleteSure is a bright combo of colors but they all work together well. Sometimes we have to take one item that we want to wear and then build an outfit around it. That is what makes a fashion challenge so much fun.
